A cleaning contract is a written agreement that defines the cleaning tasks, service frequency, payment terms, supply arrangements, and access responsibilities for a property. It provides a clear reference for how cleaning services are scheduled, performed, and documented.
A cleaning service contract is a written record of an agreement between a cleaning provider and a client. It describes the property, the cleaning services to be performed, the frequency of work, and the general timeframe for service delivery. This type of document helps both parties maintain a consistent understanding of what cleaning services are scheduled and how they are carried out. The primary purpose of a cleaning contract is to organize details in a clear, structured format.
There are many types of cleaning services for both residential and commercial settings. Cleaning service contracts commonly outline the work to be performed, how often it occurs, and under what general terms. Common types of cleaning services include:

Most cleaning contracts follow a predictable structure and reference similar sections. Typical areas covered include:
Residential cleaning contracts are commonly used for ongoing home maintenance, apartment cleaning, or one-time deep cleaning services. They typically describe interior cleaning tasks such as floor care, kitchen sanitation, and bathroom cleaning.
Commercial cleaning contracts are often used by offices, retail spaces, and facility managers to organize cleaning schedules for shared areas, hallways, or restrooms. These contracts usually reference fixed or recurring service intervals that align with business operations.
Cleaning contracts organize information about cleaning services into a clear written framework. They group together key details such as property information, service type, and cleaning schedule so both the client and the provider reference the same plan. By documenting how and when services occur, these cleaning contract agreements create a structured outline for managing regular cleaning tasks and keeping service records consistent over time.
